Researcher at Center for Research in Agricultural Genomics (CRAG) CSIC-IRTA-UABtural Genomics (CRAG)
I am originally from Michigan, and after obtaining a BA and MS in Agronomy, received my PhD in Plant Biology from the University of California, Davis, in 2008. I have worked in private industry in France and Spain as a plant breeder for Syngenta, and for the last 10 years as a researcher focused on molecular breeding and plant genomics at the Center for Research in Agricultural Genomics (CRAG) and the Institute of Agrifood Research and Technology (IRTA) in Barcelona. For the past three years, I have co-led the partnership of CRAG/IRTA with the Colorado, USA-based company Front Range Biosciences to apply genetic marker technology for the improvement of cannabis.
