Severina Pacifico is an Associate Professor of Food Chemistry at the University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”, where she is Head of the Degree Course in Food Science and Human Nutrition. Her research activity, which mainly deals with the chemistry of bioactive natural products from food and medicinal plants, resulted in more than 180 publications in peer-reviewed international journals (h-index 41, Scopus – April 2024), chapters in international books, and communications in national and international conferences. Her interest in hemp is devoted to get new insights in the chemistry of plant parts and/or hemp seed processing residual materials for nutraceuticals and/or cosmeceuticals perspectives.
