Researcher at CREA – Research Center for Genomics and Bioinforatics (Fiorenzuola d’Arda -ITALY), biologist with specialization in Applied Genetics, she has been studying hemp since 1997 with interest in the genetics and physiology of sexual differentiation, and in the development and proteomics of seed. Since 2017 he has been dealing with innovation in the agro-industrial hemp supply chain and through the coordination of regional projects (EAFRD funds) he has contributed to the creation of a pilot supply chain for the production of textile fiber and seeds from hemp. He is the scientific director of an innovative bioreactor for the water retting of hemp fiber and its scale up to the pre-industrial level.
