Gaurav Dixit is an architect-turned-entrepreneur pioneering hemp-based construction in India. As the Co-founder & Director of Gohemp Agroventures, he is building India’s most robust hemp supply chain while developing sustainable, affordable housing solutions. With a vision to create 1,000 hemp buildings by 2030, Gaurav is empowering women in hemp cultivation, processing, and product development through his women-led startup.
Recognized for his contributions to sustainable innovation, he was awarded by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and has represented India at global platforms. He has also won prestigious awards, including the Asian Hemp Summit (2020) and the Global Housing Technology Challenge (2021).
A Visiting Faculty at the School of Planning & Architecture, New Delhi, Gaurav introduced India’s first course on Building with Hemp. Currently, he is refining his innovations at IIT Roorkee, furthering India’s leadership in industrial hemp.
