Bodil Engberg Pallesen, Senior Specialist at DTI, Dept. for Bio-Resources. BDP is an experienced professional in the fields of innovations and business development, bio-economy and use of bio-resources, in particular specialist in natural fibers as hemp, straw, eelgrass, industrial waste materials etc. and combined with non-woven technology. She has been pioneer introducing natural fibers in a novel non-woven technology, converting fibers into non-woven mats and composites for furniture, building, horticulture and textile industry. Lately she is head of development of a new value chain for long fiber hemp for textiles. Since 2020 Bodil has been in project manager of Hemp4Tex, supported by Innovation Fund Denmark.
